Middle is a dance solo developed by Alyssa Noble for the bear it/bare it/bare witness exhibit at The Durham Arts Council in April of 2022. The work integrates her experience with physical hormonal pain and her evolving/conflicting feelings around the idea of herself as a parent.
In addition to performing Middle live, Alyssa collaborated with filmmaker Chris Charles to make the piece a short film, which can be viewed below.
